Our healthcare partner of 10+ years relied on an exclusive staffing agency vendor for IT hires and paid premium fees for direct-hire and contract-to-hire talent. In 2021, new IT leadership wanted to explore alternative sourcing strategies.
Once this need was identified, recruitment leadership worked with IT Leadership to find a solution that better aligns with system best practices and the department's long-term goals to reduce contractor headcount and drive long-term savings in recruitment and hiring costs.
Recruitment recognized the IT department's needs, and we implemented a solution to introduce a dedicated IT recruiter through the Hueman partnership. We piloted this solution at zero cost to our partner, as the value-add had yet to be determined. Six months after implementation, Hueman's IT recruiter was added to our core contract headcount (paid).
