Our partner was leveraging a decentralized recruitment model where store managers were focused on recruitment, leading to the de-prioritization of customer interactions and less time allotted for training team members. Prior to February 2023, store managers and their teams handled 65% of recruitment. To solve this, our partner engaged Hueman in an effort to centralize all recruitment efforts, giving store managers time to focus more on day-to-day business activities.
Hueman was initially engaged to centralize the recruitment function and hire store consultants at retail locations nationwide for our partner. Hueman successfully transitioned recruiting from the local stores to talent acquisition and was successful in owning 100% of the requisitions after five months of partnership — well ahead of schedule.
Leveraging a team of 6 recruiters and a recruiting coordinator, Hueman seamlessly integrated into our partner's ATS and has become well-versed in the distinguished wage scales of their four retail location types in addition to streamlining best practices.
Through an established process and a candidate experience workflow focused on nurturing talent, we have achieved a 12% decrease in candidate drop-off rate from offer to start.
In only eight months, we have met 80% of our partner's established hiring goal of 1,535 employees, having achieved this halfway through our initial contract term.
